As a rule of thumb: all Umbrellan products should be washed by hand only and in lukewarm water. For silicone liners, there is also the Vapomat medi liner cleaning device.

Why can't the products be washed in the washing machine?
It is particularly the bleaching agents contained in detergents that can attack the Umbrellan and destroy its efficacy. Residues of bleaching agents in the washing machine can have negative effects on RELAX products even when washing without detergents.

Please therefore use the medi care neutral soap to care for the Umbrellan products. This neutral soap can also be used to clean the residual limb and the RELAX product used. In this way, everything is optimally matched to each other. Only a few drops are sufficient, which should be rinsed off with plenty of clear water.

Gentle drying
The products of the RELAX family for phantom pain should never be dried in a wet towel, on a radiator or in direct sunlight, but simply left to dry in air. Every medi liner is supplied with a practical medi care washing and drying stand.
